The end of freebies...?

So I've been thinking. Not sure yet what I want to do, but here are my thoughts...

We try to post a freebie once a week and for the most part we do. We are late here and there, but usually have it up sometime that weekend. On average, our freebies are downloaded about 60-75 times in the one week that they are available (before we remove the download link). We enjoy giving away freebies and hope you like them as well. However, it is a little disappointing that basically no one leaves a comment or takes the time to read the post. Did you know we gave away a $50 gift certificate (here on our blog) to our store and only 6 people entered by leaving a comment!? 

Just not sure if the blog is worth our time and energy. If you disagree, please leave us a note and you may persuade us otherwise. Thanks!

    I wish I would have known about the contest...I would have totally wrote a comment!! I follow you guys on FB and I guess I didnt see the announcement. Gotta love the new and improved way FB is not helping the small business owners!! I love freebies...who doesnt like something that is free. You are very generous for allowing us to borrow your artistic style with each one you post! It is up to you what you do since it is your time and energy being used up but I would like to say I love the freebies :)

    NO!!! :*( that would be sad. I have an idea, do a small contest every week or so using the Freebie! People who use the freebie show how they used it. Random winner who offers a submission wins an extra freebie! Just an idea to get more participation.

    I follow you guys through Google Reader, which doesn't allow for comments unless you follow the link to the actual blog. This isn't hard to do, but I admit I read through the blogs and forget to go back to the ones I wanted to comment on... lazy, yes. I will also admit that I have downloaded without leaving a thank you. lazy, yes we covered that. I am truly thankful for your freebies and will do better!

    I too am a lazy Google Reader blogger - so I rarely comment - but I LOVE your freebies! I think I missed the memo on your giveaway - but I'm going to keep my eyes peeled for the next one!

    some freebies will grab more people... some people only come for the freebies... but, in regards to the comments.. thats a tough one...

    *i actually put up a comment and never received feedback.. but... its ok!
